EcoFlow Electric Radiators

Ecoflow German made electric radiators are extremely high quality electric radiators with the longest warranty available of 30 years. Internally, the electrical elements are encased within non porous fireclay heat plates. When the element heats, it transfer the heat to the fireclay and then in turn to the radiant surface of the radiator.

Once the core is hot, cold air is drawn from the floor and up through the flutes to create convection heat. Ecoflow German Electric Radiators
continuously generate and conserve heat within the core of the heater.

The heat retention is achieved by a series of fireclay heat plates in the centre of the radiator. Each heat plate has a coiled heating element totally buried within it, forming an integral part of the plate. Each heat plate has a typical power rating of 100 – 200 watts. When the electric
heating system is switched on, the element gets hot, heating the storage plate within a matter of minutes. Once heated the heat plate will retain heat for well over 30 minutes, transferring heat to the metal casing and flutes of the radiator.

Energy Saving Features

Using the very latest digital electronic thermostat technology and having the built in capability for programming times and temperatures means that only the energy absolutely needed is used.

The built in digital electronic thermostat and 24hr/7 day programming system is sited on the top of the radiator for easy programming access. The room air temperature is sensed below the radiator where the air is coldest. The thermostat accuracy is +/- 0.1 °C.

There are 9 factory pre-set programs to suit most lifestyles and a user programming option if the pre-set programs are not suitable.

Open Window Sensing
The radiators will sense when a window has been opened and stop producing heat until the window is closed.

Adaptive Start Function
The Vanguard radiator learns the correct time to switch on, so no more guessing what time to program. Just tell the radiator what temperature you want the room to be at and what time, the Vanguard radiator will do the rest!

Energy Monitoring
This function can tell you the energy consumed in each day/ week/ month or year.

Vanguard radiators do not need a circulation pump, or any moving parts. The ceramic element naturally produces radiant and convection heat into the room.

What are the benfits of EcoFlow Electric Radiators?

Optional WiFi Control

EcoFlow radiators have radio receivers built in which allow bi-directional radio communication.

This allows us to offer state of the art controls with WiFi integration and App control.

To use the app system you will need to purchase the EcoFlow
Gateway which plugs in to your home WiFi router.

App uses built in thermostats

The EcoFlow gateway communicates with the built in radiator thermostats. They will control the ambient temperature in each room separately and signal back what the current room temperature is. This can be viewed and controlled from the app on your Smartphone or tablet.

EcoFlow WiFi Gateway

This is the WIFI gateway that enables app control. You will need one of these per property. It comes with an ethernet cable to connect to your existing internet router and also comes with a 3 pin plug for mains power. Once set up, this gateway will communicate with the radiator thermostats and your app which is a free download from the Apple App Store or Google Play. From the app you can set all your heating programming and temperatures for each individual room. This can be done from inside the property and also remotely when away, anytime anywhere!

Every Ecoflow radiator has a built in digital electronic room thermostat, complete with a 7 day programming system. As an additional option, all Ecoflow Electric Radiators can be controlled remotely by radio frequency and by App from any smart device. The EcoFlow electronic thermostat is accurate to +/- 0.1 deg C and the timing system allows you to pre-set required room temperatures at specific times. When the temperature drops in any individual room, the thermostat switches the heater on, perhaps for only a minute to re-heat the internal plates. This continual dynamic re-heat process continues thereby maintaining the room temperature. The ability to sense temperature changes and react immediately is one of the great benefits of this type of heating. Because of the ability to heat up quickly the use of electricity is limited and the cost of using the Ecoflow radiators may be very little if you’re house insulation is good. These German radiators heat the room to a comfortable even temperature and also keep the floor temperature within a few degrees of the ambient room temperature.

Technical Data

Each heat plate has a coiled heating element totally buried within it, forming an integral part of the heat plate.

Each heat plate has a low wattage element inside and multiple plates are used to make up the total power of the radiator. When the radiator is switched on, the element gets hot instantly, transmitting the heat generated to the heat plate within a matter of minutes.

The hot plate transmits the heat to the metal casing and flutes of the radiator which then heats the room by radiated heat, in the same way as a normal central heating radiator with the added advantage of powerful convection heat through the hollow flutes.

Each radiator has a highly accurate digital electronic thermostat and 7 day 24 hour timing control built-in or optionally can be operated by app control.
Each of these methods measures the air temperature of the room allowing the room temperature to be regulated to maintain a pre-determined temperature set by the user.
